Who we are
Fintentional is an independent property company founded by Chris Hancox in 2021.
After four years working for a national sourcing company and almost a decade investing personally, Chris identified a gap in the market:
Fully independent unbiased advice from a real-life experienced investor.

Through Fintentional, Chris now provides personalised one-to-one support to property investors. We help you to achieve your own version of financial freedom through property.
About Chris
Chris purchased his first property in 2012. After completing a full refurb and realising a healthy profit, he developed a passion for property investment and the opportunities it brings. This led to him building a modest portfolio of Buy-to-Let properties.
Then in 2018, he left his previous career and began working full time in property. He spent four years at a national property sourcing and education company, overseeing many hundreds of property transactions.
He continued to build a successful personal portfolio alongside his day job. This allowed him to achieve his freedom goal and leave employment in 2021.
“My goal was always to have time freedom. I still enjoy working, I don’t want to retire, I would be bored! I love having freedom of choice over the work I do, and when and where I choose to do it. Property investment is what provides the security to do that.”
With a mixture of BTL, BRRR, and HMO investments within his personal portfolio, Chris has a wealth of practical experience. Through his personal investing and work with clients, there are very few scenarios he hasn’t seen.

With so much noise in the property industry and big financial incentives to sell, it’s hard to know who to trust.
Without experience, it’s impossible to know what really works and what doesn’t.
As a result, far too many people get sold properties or courses that aren’t suitable for their goals. Often from salespeople with no personal investing experience.
